Kanchipuram- Kanchipuram Kamakshi Amman temple is one of the forms of Sakthi and is called the Adi Sakthi. Pallava Kings built this temple during their ruling period. It is closely associated with Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetha and has a biographical gallery of Adi Shankaracharya.

Thiruthani- Thiruthani Subrahmanyaswamy temple is on the hill of Tiruttani with a idol of Murugan and is fifth among the six temples of Murugan. The main deities here are Murugan, his consorts Valli and Devasena.
