Our new IRCTC Mysore to Mysore Coorg tour package came up with an idea of making you visit the popular attractions of Mysore and Coorg. It covers visits to Chamundi Hills, Mysore Palace, Tipu Palace, Golden temple, Cauvery Nisargadhama, Abbey Falls, Omkareshwara temple, Bhagamandala and Talacauvery. This tour includes train transportation for pick up & drop off, vehicle transportation for sightseeing and accommodation services in AC/non-AC rooms.
Mysore, known as the City of Palaces, is one of the most preferred tourist destinations in South India. With its magnificent palaces including the Mysore Palace, majestic buildings, beautiful gardens, tree lined streets, silks and sandalwood, Mysore attracts tourists in large numbers every year. Mysore, called as the City of Palaces, is well known for the musical fountain in Brindavan Gardens.
Kodagu or Coorg called as the Scotland of India is a marvelous hill station located in the southern part of Karnataka. It is a small district of the state with distinct culture, unique customs and traditions. The people of Coorg are known as Kodavas or Coorgies. The misty hills, lush green valleys, evergreen forests, breath taking waterfalls will definitely lure one’s eyes. The region is surrounded by coffee plantations, orange groves, cardamom, pepper plants and dense forests. Cauvery one of the major rivers of South India takes birth at Talakaveri in Coorg.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES:
Generic preventive measures:
The generic measures include simple public health measures that are to be followed to reduce the risk of COVID-19. These measures need to be observed by all supporting staff and tourists during tour package services at all times.
- Physical distancing of at least 6 feet to be followed as far as feasible.
- Use of face covers/masks to be made mandatory.
- Practice frequent hand washing with soap (for at least 40-60 seconds) even when hands are not visibly dirty. Use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers (for at least 20 seconds) can be made wherever feasible like train/transport/stay etc.
- Respiratory etiquettes to be strictly followed. This involves strict practice of covering one’s mouth and nose while coughing/sneezing with a Tissue/handkerchief/flexed elbow and disposing off used tissues properly.
- Self-Monitoring of health by all and reporting any illness at the earliest to Tour manager and IRCTC helpline.
- Installation & use of Aarogya Setu App, Shall be advised to all (Supporting staff& Tourists).
- Avoid touching the eyes, nose and mouth with the hands.
- Abide to the mandatory health advisories issued by the States/Local administration which are being visited.
- Avoid physical contact while greeting each other.
- Avoid travel if symptomatic.
- Stay away from elderly and people with morbidity. Persons above 65 years of age, persons with morbidities, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years are advised to take extra precautions as per Govt. guidelines.
- Heart & blood pressure patients, pregnant women, persons suffering from medical problems, senior citizens etc need to be cautious while traveling and should be accompanied by someone.
- Avoid using other tourists' phone, Water bottle, Umbrella etc as much as possible.
- All tourists are advised that spitting is strictly prohibited in train, tourist places, buses, hotels/Dharmashala etc.
- Following of social distancing during boarding/de-boarding of train/ any other transport, Monuments & pilgrim places visit, lunches/dinners etc.
- Avoid loitering and crowding in train corridors, gates, cabins, buses, hotels/Dharmashala etc.
- Avoid visiting public places / congregations other than the planned purpose of visit and avoid public transport.
- Encourage online purchase of entry tickets to National Parks/Wildlife sanctuaries, monuments etc.
- Do not Touch statues/idols/holy books etc, inside the religious places.
- No physical offerings like Prasad/distribution or sprinkling of holy water etc. inside the religious place.
- Tourists should avoid handling cash as much as possible. Payments may be done through digital modes to the extent possible.

- Covering all sightseeing places are subject to time availability, weather & road conditions. All sightseeing places are subject to opening of tourist destinations and time availability.
- Package operation is subject to government guidelines at the destinations.
- The itinerary of the package is indicative only and handling agency reserves the right to change itinerary during operation of the tour due to local circumstances.
- Opening of Wild Life Sanctuaries/ National Parks are subject to the discretion of the Forest Dept.
- Allotted time slots by any facility/tourist attraction/activity should be followed by all tourists for the convenience of service providers and other tourists.
- Standard Check In & Check out time 12.00 PM. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to the availability. Mostly hotels observe 1300 to 1500 check-in time and check-out time is normally 1000 to 1100 hrs.
- Early check in / late check-out is subject to the discretion of the hotel.
- Room categories in all packages are the base category rooms unless stated otherwise.
- Final confirmation in the proposed hotels is subject to the availability at the time of booking, else similar category hotel will be provided.
- Most of the hotels provide twin bedroom, double bedroom is subject to availability. Wherever extra bed has been stated it means only rollaway bed.
- For extra adult and Child with bed booking Roll away bed /Mattress will be provided at Hotels.
- Tour Vehicle will be allotted based on number of adults booked for the tour.
- Category of the vehicle will be decided as per the group size.
