Then he asked them to find the start & end of that light (linga) which made Brahma lie that he found it and Vishnu accepted that he could not find it. In result Shiva cursed Brahma that he would not be worshiped and praised Vishnu that he would get worshiped more. The places where Shiva appeared as a light are now Jyotirlinga temples. There are 12 Jyotrilinga temples and one of them is in Srisailam.
