The Venu Gopala Swamy temple is located at a distance of around 75 m from the Tirupati railway station. It is the popular shrine of lord Krishna in the name of Venu Gopala swamy. Devotees can darshan the deity of lord Krishna in a posture of blowing flute holding it with his left hand, legs crossed touching his right toe with his left toe and a cow behind him.

Govindaraja Swamy Temple

The Govindaraja swamy temple is located at a distance of around 450 m from Tirupati railway station. It is an ancient Hindu temple of lord Vishnu in the form of Govindaraja. This temple was built during the 12 th century with a deity in reclining yoga nidra posture,facing east with his right hand under his head and left hand straight over his body. Sridevi and Bhudevi are the consorts of lord Vishnu seated at his feet in this temple. Govindaraja is elder brother of lord Venkateswara. 

Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple

The Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati is at a distance of 750 m from Tirupati railway station. It is an ancient Hindu temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram with the deities of lord Venkateswara facing east in a standing posture with four hands (left hands holding Varada mudra and chakra, right hands holding Kati mudra and Shankha). It also has deities of Lakshmi Narayana and Ranganatha.

ISKCON temple tirupati 

The ISKCON temple Tirupati is at a distance of around 3.8 KM from the Tirupati Central railway station. ISKCON means International Society for Krishna Consciousness also known as Hare Krishna Movement. They promote Bhagavad Gita, Krishna philosophy and bhakti yogas internationally. The Tirupati ISKCON temple is near to Kapila Tirtha and is popularly known as Hare Krishna temple. It is an attractive place for visitors with the greenery of lawns around the temple.

Regional Science Centre 

The Regional Science Centre is in Tirupati and is located at a distance of 4 km from Tirupati railway station. It is situated at the foothills of Tirumala on Alipiri Zoo Park road. It is a non formal science destination with permanent 6 exhibition galleries namely “Fun Science”, “Popular Science”, “Our Universe”, “Our Senses”, “Illusion” and “Emerging Technology”. The outdoor science park is filled with lush green lawns over an area of 5 acres along with a number of participatory exhibits, Prehistoric life park, Herbal garden and animal corner. The 3D theatre, science shows and Taramandal are some major attractions here especially for students. 

Kapila Theertham 

The Kapila Teertham is at a distance of around 4.2 km from Tirupati railway station. This is a waterfall below Seshadrikonda and is also known as Alwar Teertham. Kapila Maharshi had worshipped Kapileswara Swamy(lord siva) in the underground during Krita Yuga. Once for some reasons Kapileswara swamy split the earth and appeared here and this is why it is called the Kapila lingam. 

Tiruchanur Padmavathi Amman Temple

The Padmavathi amman temple is in Tiruchanur, located at a distance of around 4.8 KM from Tirupati railway station. This temple has the deity of goddess Padmavathi devi or Alamelumanga with the consort of Lord Venkateswara. It is believed that goddess Lakshmi was born as Alamelu to Akasha Raja, the ruler of Tirumala and wed Venkateswara of Tirupati. Goddess Lakshmi gave darshan to Lord Venkateswara on a red lotus flower at AlameluMangapuram after his deep penance(meditation) for twelve years. 

Vakula Matha Temple

Vakula Matha temple is situated in Tirupati city, at a distance of around 7.6 KM from Tirupati railway station. Vakula devi is the foster mother of lord Sri Venkateswara. According to puranas, Vakula Devi in Dwapara yuga was born as Yashoda(foster-mother of lord Krishna) and complained to lord Krishna as she couldn’t witness any of his weddings. Then, lord Krishna said that she will have such an opportunity  in the Kali Yuga. In Kali Yuga, she was reborn as Vakula Devi(m/o lord balaji)and arranged lord Venkateswara's wedding with goddess Padmavathi. This Vakula devi temple was constructed in such a way that the idol of the goddess faces the seven hills, where her son lord Venkateswara resides.
