  • Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple

Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple is at a distance of around 1 km from Tirumala bus stand. The Sri Venkateswara Swami temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Venkateswara who appeared on the earth to save mankind from trials and troubles of Kali Yuga.

  • Srivari Padalu

Srivari Padalu is located at a distance of 6.2 km from Tirumala bus stand and at a distance of 5.6 km from Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swami temple. Srivari Padalu are the feet of Lord Venkateswara situated on the highest hill in the Tirumala hills. The Tirumala Valley is very beautiful from the Mandapam of Sri Vari Pada.

  • Sri Varaha Swamy Temple

Sri Varaha Swamy temple is at a distance of around 5 Km from Srivari Padalu and about 900 m away from Tirumala bus stand. This temple is also called Bhu Varahaswamy temple, dedicated to Lord Varaha situated at hill town of Tirumala. After saving the earth from the asura Hiranyaksha, Vishnu’s boar avatar Varaha stayed on this hill on the northern bank of Swami Pushkarini. Hence Tirumala Hills is also referred to as Adi Varaha Kshetra.  

  • Sila Thoranam

Sila Thoranam, one kilometer north of the main temple of Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala.It is at a distance of around 2.8 Km from Tirumala bus stand. This rock formation is a national monument which is formed due to the natural erosion of nature. Here, a thin bridge resting on two different types of rock and the rocks may have an age of 25 lakh years.

  • Sri Venkateswara Museum

Sri Venkateswara museum is located at a distance of 1.4 Km from Tirumala bus stand and 900 m away from Sila thoranam. It was opened in the year 1980 in Veyi Kalla(Thousand Pillar) Mandapam in Tirumala. The ivory palanquin presented by Mysore Maharaja and the mirror used by Sri Krishnadevaraya are the main attractions in this museum.

  • Chakra Teertham

Chakra Teertham is at a distance of around 3.6 Km from Tirumala bus stand and around 2.8 KM from Tirumala temple. This waterfall got the name chakra teertham for the chakram in the hands of Lord Vishnu. It is believed that once Lord Brahma requested to search a peaceful and fresh place for his meditation. Then, lord Vishnu sent his discus(Vishnu Sudarshana Chakram) for the search and the discus carved out an area on the hill creating a place for lord Brahma to sit. Water from the hill streams rushed into the deep narrow valley providing him with water. In addition to it, Lord killed a giant with his Sudarshana Chakra and saved his devotee named Padmanabha. These are the reasons why it is called Chakra Teertham.

Japali Teertham

Japali Teertham is a holy theertham visited by most of the devotees. The temple of Lord Sri Anjaneya Swamy in the name of Japali Anjaneya Swami is the main attraction here. It is at a distance of around 4.5 Km from Tirumala temple and 5.4 Km from Tirumala bus stand. It is on the way to Akasa Ganga from Tirumala. It is believed that taking a dip in Japali teertham will wash out all their sins.

  • Akasaganga

Akasaganga is located at a distance of around 5 km from Tirumala bus stand. It is about 3 km north of Srivari temple. Anjanadevi performed penance here and carried Anjana in her womb. There is a tradition to bring Akashatirtha full of three silver vessels for the Abhishekam of the Lord everyday.

  • Sri Venu Gopala Swamy Temple

Sri Venu Gopala Swamy temple is located in Tirumala at a distance of around 3.8 Km from Tirumala bus stand and 3.9 Km from Tirumala temple and is on the way to Papavinasanam. Lord Krishna is being worshipped here in the name of Venugopala with a deity holding a flute and is accompanied by cows. It is believed that darshan of lord will bring prosperity and happiness to devotees.

  • Papavinasanam

It is located at a distance of around 7.6 Km from Tirumala temple and 7 km from Tirumala bus stand. In Brahma Purana it is given that, taking a holy bath here gives you positive results on every work and is said that Sri Venkateswara Swamy himself took bath here.

The Talakona Waterfalls are situated at a distance of around 76 Km from Tirumala bus stand. It is a beautiful waterfall and is one of the most beautiful natural places, which is surrounded by high hills and dense forest.
