Make a trip to all the tourist attractions of Hyderabad in a single day without worrying about the entry timings, accommodation and planning of the tour. We are providing the Hyderabad City Tour package for one day showing all the attractions with bus transportation with multiple boarding points.

Itinerary

We are providing SV Travels and STT Travels buses with multiple boarding points. The SV Travels bus has 30 boarding points and the STT Travels bus has 24 boarding points.

The SV Travels AC minibus has a ticket price of Rs. 549 for an adult and a child above 5 years. Children below 5 years old don't require a  ticket. Ticket prices will increase at weekends

The STT Travels AC minibus has a ticket fare of Rs.599 for an adult and a child above 5 years. Children below 5 years old don't require a ticket. Ticket prices will increase on weekends.

Quick Tour Guide of Hyderabad City Attractions

  1. Birla Mandir

Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple in Hyderabad near Lakdikapul and Assembly Hyderabad Metro Station. It is constructed by the Birla Foundation on a hill called Naubat Pahad which is 280 feet high. It was built within 13 acres of area and was opened in the year 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda. This temple is constructed with white marble and does not have bells inside as it is a wish of Ranganathananda Swami that the temple should be a peaceful area for meditation. It has a granite idol of Lord Venkateswara which is 11 feet in height.  Besides that, there are separate temples of Lord Shiva, Shakti maa, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Lord Brahma, Saraswati Devi and Lakshmi Devi within Birla Temple.

Things to do in Birla Mandir 

Capture the beautiful architecture and carved lotus with your eyes and on top of that spend some time in a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere by doing meditation. 

Go through the life history and struggles of Buddha by watching the paintings hung in the Buddha Temple.

2.  Charminar

Charminar is a monument in Old City, Hyderabad which was constructed by Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah in 1591 to eliminate the Plague virus which affected the entire city during the period. It is a symbol of Hyderabad and is included in one of the notable structures across India. Charminar is an Islamic architecture of four minarets with 48.7 meters in height and is an ancient historical building. It is built with granite, limestone, marble and mortar (a paste that can hardly bind the stones, to fill and seal the irregular gaps). 

Things to do in Charminar

The famous Laad Bazaar is near this monument. This bazaar is a popular shopping destination and is known for traditional, extremely beautiful and delicate bangles, pearls and colourful textiles. It is open from 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM 

Eat the delicious varieties of street food and drink the famous Irani Chai.

Charminar is open on Monday-Sunday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM 

Entry Fee

The entry fee at Charminar is Rs.5 per person for Indian visitors and Rs.100 per person for foreigners.

Duration of visit

15-30 minutes of time will be required to visit Charminar

 

3.  Chowmahalla Palace

Chowmahalla Palace was the residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad during their ruling period. It is located at Moti Galli Road, Khilwat, Hyderabad and is owned by Mir Barkat Ali Khan Mukarram Jah. The palace construction was initiated in 1750 and was completed in the period between 1857 to 1869. Now the palace is converted into a museum and is close to Charminar. The main gateway to the Chowmahalla Palace has a clock tower also known as the Khilafat clock on the western hand. This palace was open to the public from January 2005. A collection of vintage cars like Rolls Royce used by the Nizam Kings can be seen in the palace. 

Things to do in Chowmahalla Palace

Chowmahalla Palace is Chau Mahalla which means four(Chau) Palace(Mahalla). Visit the South Courtyard with a pond and garden, the Northern Courtyard with a long corridor of rooms facing the fountain and a pool, the Clock Tower and Darbar Hall. 

Entry Timings: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Entry Fee

The entry fee at Chowmahalla Palace is Rs.25 for Indian visitors and Rs.150 for foreign visitors.

Duration of visit: 45-50 minutes

 

4. Salar Jung Museum

Salar Jung Museum is in Darulshifa on the southern bank of the Musi River, Hyderabad and was established in 1951. It is one of the notable museums of India with a collection of sculptures, paintings, carvings, textiles, ceramics, metallic artefacts like ancient weapons, jewellery and coins, carpets, clocks and furniture from Japan, China, Burma, Nepal, India, Persia, Egypt and North America. Mir Yousuf Ali Khan who is one of the family members of Salar Jung served as Prime Minister of Hyderabad during the Nizam ruling period. He spent a considerable amount of his earnings over a thirty-five years period to collect artefacts from all across the world. Later, these collections were exhibited as a museum in the name of Salar Jung Museum and the museum was inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru on Dec 16, 1951. 

Must See in Salar Jung Museum

The Indian Miniature Paintings, Modern Painting, Ivory Carving, Jade Collection, clocks, coins, gallery, Indian Art, Middle Eastern Art, Far Eastern Art and European Art are the attractions of the Museum that must be seen by the visitors.

Entry Timings

The Salarjung Museum will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM  and is closed on Fridays and closed holidays like Holi, Ugadi, Ramzan, Bakrid, Muharram, Milad Un Nabi, Vijaya Dasami and Deepavali.

Entry Fee

The Salar Jung Museum has an entry fee of Rs. 50 per adult above 18 years and Rs. 20 for children above 5 years for Indian visitors. For foreign visitors, the entry fee is Rs.500 per person. 

Note: The Museum is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM but the ticket counter closes at 4:15 PM.

Duration of visit: 90 minutes
 

5.  H.E.H Nizam Museum

Nizam’s Museum is located in Hyderabad at Zehra Nagar colony, Paathar Gatti, Purani Haveli. This museum was opened on 18 Feb 2000 by the Nizam Trust. This museum is a collection of the gifts that the last Nizam of Hyderabad received on his silver jubilee celebrations. A golden throne, a gold tiffin box with diamonds inside, glass with a painting of Mir Osman Ali Khan and a wooden box  decorated with Nacre(mother of pearl) and diamonds are some of the collections in the museum. A display of 1930 Rolls Royce, Packard and Jaguar Mark V cars is in the museum. A 150 year old manually operated lift is the special attraction in the museum.

Must See in Nizam Museum

Gallery in Nizam Museum is a must see. The gallery represents a watch, female footwear with embroidery, filigree(ornamental work of fine wire) boxes of Nizams, Hat and Shoes belonging to Nawab and more. Moreover, silver coffee cups that are decorated with diamonds, silver perfume bottles and a silver filigree elephant along with elephant rider are collections in the museum that must be seen.

Entry Timings

The Nizam museum is open on Monday to Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It will be closed on Fridays and holidays.

Entry  Fee

The entry ticket price for adults is Rs.100 per person and for adults Rs.15 per person. 

Duration of visit:  2-3 hours

 

6. Golconda Fort

Golconda Fort is located at Ibrahimbagh,Hyderabad. This monument was built by the Kakatiya ruler Prathaparudhra in the 11th century out of mud walls. Sultan Quli formally became independent in 1518, establishing the Qutub Shahi dynasty based in Golconda. The mud fort was expanded by the first three Qutb Shahi Sultans into the present structure extending around 5 km. A temple was there under rock formation in Golconda. Golconda Artillery Centre, Hyderabad was raised on 15 Aug 1962 as the second Recruit Training Centre for the fighting arm of the Indian Army. 

Must See in Golconda Fort

View from the highest point, Ramdas’ prison with carved Hindu deities on the wall, green lawns at the backdrop of majestic ancient fort and Light & Sound Show from 6:30PM(1st show), 7:45 PM(2nd show) in the evening are the must visit attractions in Golconda Fort.

The fort is open on Monday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Entry Fee

The entry ticket costs Rs.25 per person for Indian visitors and Rs.300 per person for foreign visitors. 

Duration of Visit

The time required to visit Golconda Fort is 90 minutes.

 

7. NTR Gardens

NTR Gardens is a small recreation park within 36 acres of land and is beside Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad. It has been constructed with a cost of Rs.40 crores in several phases since 1999, by the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N.T.Rama Rao and it got named as NTR Gardens. It includes NTR Statue and museum about N.T.Rama Rao.

Things to do in NTR Gardens

Explore the beauty of gardens with greenery, carved trees and visit the museum of NTR to know his life stories.

Entry Timings

It is open on Monday to Saturday from 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM and on Sundays and Holidays it will be open from 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Entry Fee

The entry ticket price for adults is Rs. 20 per person and for children is Rs.10 per person. 

Duration of visit: 15 to 30 minutes

8. Ambedkar Statue

The 125 feet bronze statue of renowned Indian Constitution writer Dr B.R. Ambedkar was launched on the occasion of his 132nd birth anniversary  by the Telangana State Chief Minister K.C.R in Hyderabad. This statue is now the tallest statue of Ambedkar in India. It is located adjacent to the State Secretariat on the banks of the Hussain Sagar Lake.
